My Rideography (Pronounced Ride-o-graphy)

Rideography? Is there really such a word?

Anyhow, I’ve been enjoying the new car. It’s truly an exciting ride with excellent handling and the cornering is unrivalled by any other cars out there. The acceleration is good while suspension and chasis seems rigid but flexible enough at corners. Although the Aluminium engine’s 147bhp is lower than the Civic’s , it does have a better power to weight ratio which is always good for overtaking.

I enjoyed driving it so much that I’ve even took the long route to work. Ohh, did I mention that it’s a sports car? Well not exactly a sports car – it’s been describe before as a fastback and we all know that that’s just a fancy word concocted not to offend the sports car owners (but it does take a swipe to all the Civic owners out there!!!)

And of course, being a sports car, naturally, it’s a babe magnet and that’s priceless.

As a tribute to the previous rides that I have (or borrowed from mom and dad), I’m dedicating a three part Abu’s Rideography series to all my exes (automotively speaking, of course).

However, as I’m still feeling a bit malas-malas this morning (plus the fact that I’m supposed to be working now), the first part of the series will only be posted (or aired, mcm special tribute tv programme jer!!) sometime this week (or next week, or the following week or bile2 I suka laa!!!)

Soo tuuuungguuuuu yeah!!

Till then, cheerios dude!!

Hmmm…

It’s been long since the last post, I know. I really haven’t been that attentive to the blog since the wedding and for the past 8 months, marriage and work has been draining most of my time with all the traveling and weekend shopping.

Nevertheless, I want to continue on the blog and I want to share and express more freely to the world of my thoughts, emotions and life. I hope and hopefully I’ll strive to post an update on at least once a week.

Below are some recent quick events of the last eight months;

Me and Belle bought a condo somewhere in central KL. It was on a knockdown price and its located right in the middle of both our offices (although I’m actually based in Kurt’s Town, I do have a lot of meetings in KLCC).

We only moved two months later after renovation was completed. We’ve been shopping and furnishing the place ever since. We could have completed this earlier and sooner but Belle insists on IKEA stuffs and I’m not actually THAT rich!!!

We’ve also converted one of the bedrooms as a study room for me. Belle wasn’t too happy with this as she prefers it to be a nursery for a baby in the future. Would probably do that once she’s pregnant.

I’ve gained some weight but managed to shed most it when I was bedridden for four days because of a fever. Still couldn’t fit to the GAP jeans I’ve had since Uni though. Need to go on Atkins….

Met the boss a couple of times to discuss on me transferring back to KL. He doesn’t seem to keen on it as he wants to me to stay on for another year. Belle wasn’t too happy on hearing this.

Nevertheless, my name has been proposed on numerous occasions for overseas posting. One reliable source put it that I’ll probably be posted in our north neighboring country. I’ve also heard rumors of me having a stint in a North African country (one that the UN recently decided to send some peace keepers to).

There are also people in KL offering me positions in projects across the BigGreenDinosaur. This would be my preferred choice as I’ll spend more time with Belle as the rest of the other options would require a more extensive traveling compared to now. Anyhow, hope to get out of Kurt’s Town by end of year.

Bought a new car and will be collecting it tomorrow. I wouldn’t bore you on the make, specs and engine mumbo jumbo but it is a CBU and I’m glad I bought it.
